BAPTISM
Baptisms are usually celebrated at 12.00 pm on Sunday, and occasionally at the 10.30 am Mass. Baptism preparation is obligatory for first-time parents and others who need it.
EUCHARIST
Children receive the Eucharist for the first time in school year 2 (age 7) usually in the month of June.
RECONCILIATION
CONFIRMATION
Young parishioners are invited to receive this Sacrament in school year 10 (15 years) and take part in a programme of six weekly evening meetings lasting for one hour, run by our parish team. The Sunday before the confirmation there is a Service of Reconciliation during which the candidates are encouraged to receive the Sacrament.
MARRIAGE
Couples wishing to marry are required to attend a preparation course run the clergy. As required by Canon Law, people who are not parishioners need the permission of their parish priest to marry outside their parish.
